Research interest

 

Dr. Fliss's research interests focus on :

  • Isolation, characterization and production of probiotic and lactic cultures with antimicrobial activity and study of the mechanisms related to their health benefits;
  • High probiotic potential lactic bacteria strains;
  • Probiotics for the prevention and resistance to enteric infections;
  • Fast detection of pathogenic microflora (genetic probe, PCR, RT-PCR, NASBA);
  • Bacteriocinogenic bifidobacteria;
  • In vitro simulation of the human digestive system;
  • Biologically active peptides.
