Consultative committee
The role of the Consultative Committee is to harmonize the Centre's activities within the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences, in conjunction with the Food Science Department and the Institute of Nutrition and Functional Foods (INAF). The Consultative Committee meets at least once a year, and whenever necessary, such as for major infrastructure grant applications. It adopts the Centre's strategic plan and action plan, and helps identify the actions required to implement them. The Committee is responsible for ensuring that the Centre's activities are carried out in harmony with the master plans of the participating departments and the faculties concerned. It acts as a forum for the Centre's strategic development support. The Consultative Committee approves the appointment of members. In addition, the Committee is statutorily responsible for consulting regular members on the appointment of the Director.
