Research interest


Dr. Chouinard's research interests focus on:

  • Nutrional and hormonal factors and their impact on cow's milk quality and composition;
  • Modifications of milk fat profile through changes in cow's diet;
  • Conjugated linolec acids (CLA) synthesis and secretion mechanisms in cows;
  • Effects of CLA on milk production and composition;
  • Effects of CLA on human blood lipids and body composition;
  • Omega-3 fatty acid in feed and content in cow's milk.
